Gadkari to address BJP diaspora group in London
New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Nitin Gadkari will address the first convention of the Overseas Friends of BJP in London July 16 as well as several business meets during his six-day trip to Britain, a party statement said Sunday.
At his speech at the convention, Gadkari will focus on the fast deteriorating security scenario in South Asia with special emphasis on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism against India.
During his visit beginning July 15, Gadkari will be talking about India-British economic cooperation in various fields during his meeting with business leaders, an interaction with members of Indo-European Business Forum and at a luncheon by the London Chamber of Commerce.
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Trade and Investment with India and the Commonwealth Business Forum have also organised a business meeting with Indian and British industrialists where Gadkari will invite Indo-British collaborations in the BJP-ruled states in areas of mutual interest.
The BJP president will also discuss relations between the two countries at a meeting with the Indo-British All Party Parliamentary Group and other British leaders.
Gadkari is scheduled to address a gathering of the Telangana Development Forum, Britain, besides visiting the Southall Gurudwara and Swaminarayan Temple in Neasden.
