Mohali, July 8 (IANS) Four people, including two women, have been booked in Punjab for duping a man of Rs.10.3 lakh on the pretext of sending him abroad, police said Friday.

 
 Jagjit Singh, a resident of Ferozepur town who wanted to go to Canada, paid Rs.10.3 lakh to Meena Sharma, the owner of an immigration company here, said Tarlochan Singh, investigation officer in the case.
 
 "The accused took the amount from Jagjit and also gave him visa documents. But on reaching New Delhi, he came to know that his visa was fake. Then the immigration company officials refused to return the money. We booked Sharma and three other employees of the company late Thursday," he told IANS.
 
 The other accused were identified as the company's manager Taranjit Singh and executives Tammana and Bikram.
 
 Police have received similar complaints against Sharma before, he added.
