Four bodies found in Mumbai drain

Mumbai, June 6 (IANS) In a shocking incident, partially charred bodies of four men who had been kidnapped were found in a drain in Mumbai Monday, police said.

 
 “Family members of the four men had registered a complaint of kidnapping Saturday. Today, their bodies were found in Appapada jungle in Kurar,” a police officer told IANS.
 
 The officer said the bodies had been sent for autopsy.
 
 The four men, aged between 23 and 28 years, have been identified as Ganesh Karanje, Dinesh Ahire, Chetan Ghude and Bharat Chinchole.
 
 According to police, their families said that they had a fight with some people Saturday evening and then went missing.
 
 Friends and relatives of the victims blocked traffic on the Western Express highway in Mumbai, demanding action against the killers.
