Prolific writer and trained economist Dr Subramanian Swamy will inaugurate Vichar Bharathi, Kuwait on Friday May 7th, 2010. The inauguration ceremony will take place at Indian Community School, Amman branch, Salmiya. Inauguration will be followed by an open session with Dr.Swamy.
Dr.Swamy is nationally famous in India for his heroic struggle against the authoritarian imposition of Emergency and is considered as a catalyst in India’s public life. He was Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Some of Dr. Swamy's research work carried out at Harvard and afterwards in India, have earned him a high standing in the field of Economics.
