Delhi blast probe making progress: Home secretary
New Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS) The probe into last week's Delhi High Court blast is heading in the "right direction" but not much can be revealed as it could hamper investigations, Home Secretary R.K. Singh said Wednesday.
"The probe is progressing and it's heading in the right direction," Singh told reporters. “We don't want to make the leads and progress public, it will hamper the probe,” Singh said.
“Some people have been arrested and are being interrogated,” he said.
He, however, refused to comment if a module was behind the blast. “What is called a module? Some people have been arrested,” he responded to a query.
The explosion that took place outside Gate No.5 of the Delhi High Court complex last Wednesday killed 13 people and injured over 90. The probe is being headed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), assisted by Delhi Police.
