New Delhi, April 28 (IANS) A 15-year-old girl was gang raped by six youths, one of whom was her friend, police said Thursday, adding the assailants had been arrested.

 
 The victim, who belonged to Andrews Ganj, was abducted on April 22 by her friend Rajesh who took her to Vivekanand Park in Andrews Ganj, said a police official.
 
 "Rajesh later took her to Sangam Vihar and his five friends raped the victim one by one," said a police officer.     
 
 They later dropped her in front of her house, but out of fear she went to the house of her friend, Rahul, who lives in Kotla Mubarakpur, from where she was recovered by police Wednesday. 
 
 The matter came to light when the girl's father registered a police complaint.  
 
 A medical examination confirmed the rape and the police Thursday arrested the six accused - Rajesh, Anil, Siddharth, Tilak, Prateek and Pinku - all in their early 20s.
