Swan family in Prospect Park bounces back after fishing line strangles baby to death |

One of the lake's beloved swans hatched five adorable cygnets early Friday after sitting on the eggs in her reed nest near the eastern shore for a past month.
But within a day, one of the babies died and the mother's life was endangered after the young family became entangled in a discarded fishing line. |
