More than half the bones in the human body are in the hands and feet. 3. The highest recorded "sneeze speed" is 165 km (102 miles) per hour. 4. Here are more : 1.The only 2 animals that can see behind itself without turning it's head are: The rabbit and the parrot. 2. A hippopotamus can run faster than a man. 3. A snail can sleep for 3 years! 4. A cat can run about 20 miles per hour when it grows up. 5. A cat uses whiskers to determine if a space is too small to squeeze through. The whiskers act as antennae, helping the animal to judge the precise width of any passage. 6. A cat sees about six times better than a human at night because of the tapetum lucidum, a layer of extra reflecting cells which absorb light. |
