MoE to allow ‘special’ expat children in private schools |

The Ministry of Education (MoE,) will allow expatriate children with disabilities join private schools, but since the matter requires further study, the proposal will be forwarded to the undersecretaries’ council.
Once the matter is sorted out and conditions are set up, a decision will be issued in this regard,†Al-Sabah daily quoted Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mudhi Al-Humoud as saying. The minister said private education is the key alternative for public education and added that the ministry supports private education and closely monitors its progress and provides all facilities needed to develop the education process in the country. |
