Ministry of interior warns of African prank-calls
Media security department at the Ministry of Interior on Sunday warned citizens and expats living in Kuwait of receiving calls or text messages claiming the person suffers from magic and needs a treatment to undo the spell. In a statement released here, the ministry said that the source of such prank-calls come from African countries, adding that they aim to deceive and ask for money. Citizens and expats are to be aware from giving any personal information or details such as bank account numbers or identification numbers, the statement said. |
