Repairing a Blown Head Gasket
•Usually bearing damage occurs when there is coolant in the oil. However, if you flush it with new oil within the week pull off the head and replace the gasket, you should be okay. •Basically, you need to replace the motor. You probably have a 4 or small 6 cylinder motor. They were not designed to get hot or have coolant in the parts that use oil. I have a 1988 Isuzu Pup the motor over heated and I spent three grand building my motor. Its not cheap and I wouldn't recommend rebuilding unless you have a shop in which to do it your self |
