German school to be built in Kuwait |

German school will be built in Kuwait to cater for the German-speaking community, the Kuwaiti education ministry has said.
The school is part of an accord between the ministry and the German embassy to boost cooperation and help German-speaking children who currently go to international schools that teach British, American or French systems. Under the agreement, Kuwaiti government scholarships will be extended to outstanding Kuwaiti students to allow them to study in German universities. Moodhi Al Hmood, Kuwait's education minister, and Michael Worbs, the German ambassador to Kuwait, agreed that the students would be taking courses in engineering and sciences. |
