Driving license renewal is based on the applicant’s age. If you are below 40 years of age, you will be provided with a renewed license for 10 years. However if you are above 40 years of age, then renewed driving license will be provided only for up to 50 years. You need not take eye test if you are below of 50 years of age. However if you are above 50 years then eye test is compulsory.
If you are in the age group of 50-55 years of age, you need to pass the eye test and will be provided with a renewed driving license of 5 years validity. The procedure is same if you are in the range of 55-60 years of age. If you are above 60 years of age, you need to pass the eye test and will be provided with renewed driving license of 3 years validity. |
