Finger print system at airport from next month.
Posted on 12/26/2010 Ministry of Interior will start operating an electronic finger print system at border checkpoints, sea ports and air port from next month, reports local daily Kuwait times. The installation will be an attempt to detect deported expatriates attempting to reenter the country using forged documents. Report added that the ministry had signed a contract with a company to install the system and provide training to criminal investigators. Expats will have their finger print scanned following their entrance procedures and those banned from entering the country will be denied access. |
