Tamarind Shrimp (Asam Udang)
Ingredients   
3 Pounds Medium Shrimp
1/4 Cup Tamarind Paste -- dissolved in
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Directions    
Marinate shrimp in remaining ingredients except oil for 30 minutes. Drain and discard marinade. Heat oil in skillet and fry shrimp for 2 minutes. Serve with rice.
