Spicy Capsi Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients
For the spicy capsi chicken masala: 1 cup chopped onions 1 tbs finely chopped garlic 2 cups of chicken julienne Salt n black pepper powder to taste 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tsp red or green chilli paste A pinch of MSG 2 tsp dark soya sauce 3 tsp chopped spring onion greens 2 tbs refined oil 1 tbs vinegar For the sandwich: 4 buns(halved,buttered and grilled for a min) 1 cup thin round slices of tomatoes 1 cup thin round slices of cucumber 2 round and thin slices of onions 4 tsp green paste(paste made of coriander,mint,yoghurt and blach salt) 4 tsp tomato ketchup Salt,black pepper powder and chaat masala for sprinkling 4 cheese slices Directions For the spicy capsi chicken masala: Heat oil n add onions.when slightly golden,add add garlic and saute for 30secs. Add chicken juliennes,salt,MSG and black pepper powder to taste.Stir for a min. Add tomato ketchup,chilli paste n soya sauce.Saute well.Cook till chicken is half tender. Add capsicum and spring onion greens.Stir n cook till chicken is tender.Don't add any water. Add vinegar.Mix and keep aside. For the sandwich: On one part of the bun,spread 1tsp green paste,place 2 or 4 slices of cucumber,tomato and onion each. Sprinkle salt,pepper powder and chaat masala(a pinch of each). Place and spread 2 or 3tsp of the chicken julienne on top of the cucumber,tomato and onion slices. Spread 1tsp tomato ketchup on the other part of the bun. Place a slice of cheese on top of the chicken. Cover the cheese slice with the other part of the bun where tomato ketchup was spread. Grill on a microwave or tawa till the cheese melts. Repeat with the other 3 buns.Serve. |
