Samsung launches first 3D LED HDTV monitor in Kuwait |

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, yesterday introduced the first 3D LED HDTV monitors, the 950 Series in Kuwait. The new monitor line-up incorporates Samsung’s proprietary 3D technology, sophisticated styling with a unique asymmetrical design and TV tuner capability and is set to redefine the world of entertainment and gaming.
The Samsung 950 Series can be used as a computer monitor, a social media hub and as a TV as well thus, allowing users to integrate all their entertainment, work, gaming and computing activities in one place. Using Samsung’s patented 3D Hyper Real Engine technology that converts 2D content to 3D, the new monitor line-up delivers an immersive 3D experience by optimizing color, contrast and motion. With the Mega DCR and LED BLU technologies, the 950 Series monitors provide the best high definition picture quality with superior contrast, richer colors, deeper blacks and sharper images. The Samsung 950 Series 3D LED HDTV monitors allow users to enjoy a variety of 3D content due to its high compatibility with various consoles such as 3D BD player, 3D game console, 3D digital camera, 3D camcorder, computer and TV. The new monitor line-up is also the first in the industry to allow users to directly enjoy various applications on their monitor without turning on their PC using the Samsung Smart Hub feature. The monitors refresh the screen at 120Hz, two times more than a standard 2D monitor while the Digital Noise Filter technology enhances the visibility of pictures by clearing out the noise from compressed low quality images thus providing the most comfortable viewing experience in both 2D and 3D. The Magic Angle provides a wide viewing angle of up to 170 degrees ensuring the most optimized viewing experience at any position. The full 3D HDTV monitors include a variety of connectivity options to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. The monitors’ connectivity options include AllShare, ConnectShare, Smart Hub and multiple input ports. The Samsung AllShare allows users to share contents from various devices using DLNA technology. With the ConnectShare feature, users can effortlessly connect their USB to the monitor and enjoy instant playback of video, music and photo files without turning on their PC. The Samsung Smart Hub allows users to enjoy the Samsung Apps, Social TV, Search All and Your Video features. |
