Pork With Ginger (Jani Masak Halia)

Ingredients
2 Pounds Pork -- cubed 1 Medium Egg -- beaten 2 Tablespoons Flour Oil -- for frying 1 Inch Ginger -- finely chopped 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped 1 Medium Onion -- finely chopped 1 Large Jalapeno -- finely chopped 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce 1/3 Cup Water 1/4 Teaspoon Salt 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper 2 Large Scallion -- finely chopped Directions Put pork in bowl add egg and mix well. Add flour and combine. Heat oil in skillet and fry for 1 minute. Remove, drain on paper towels and set aside. Remove all oil except 1 tablespoon. Add ginger, garlic and onion, fry for 1 minute. Add pork and toss. Add jalapeno, oyster sauce, water, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Stir in scallions. Serve with rice. only for 8 people... |
