Manchow Soup

Ingredients:

1 tsp oil;
2 tsp minced garlic:
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped;
1/2 cup cabbage, shredded;
1/2 cup spring onions, chopped;
1/2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded;
2 tsp soya sauce;
4 cups chicken stock;
3 tbsp corn flour;
salt & pepper to taste

Method: Heat oil in a pan, fry the garlic till fragrant. Add mushrooms, cabbage and spring onion. Sprinkle with a little salt. Sauté till the vegetables are tender. Add soya sauce and the stock. Bring to a boil. Add corn flour mixed to a paste with some water or stock. Simmer for a couple of minutes. Taste and add the seasoning. Garnish with fried noodles.
