Chile Prawns (Malaysia)

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Peanut Oil 1 Tablespoon Garlic -- chopped 1 Tablespoon Ginger -- finely chopped 2 Large Jalapeno -- finely chopped 1 Pound Prawns -- shelled 1 Tablespoon Black Miso 1 Medium Tomato -- chopped 3 Medium Scallion -- finely chopped 1 Cup Bamboo Shoots 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce 2 Tablespoons Rice Wine 1 Teaspoon Sugar 1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon Water Cilantro -- for garnish Rice Directions stir-fry in oil, garlic, ginger, and jalapeno. stir-fry 1 minute. add the parwns and stir-fry 2 minutes. add mso, tomato, scallion, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, sherry, sugar, and sesame oil. stir-fry 3 minutes. add cornstarch to water and add to wok. simmer for 1 minute to thicken. garnish with cilantro and serve over rice. we can serve only for 2 people..... have fun..... |
