If anyone shows the following symptoms, he/she should see a physician for complete checkup. 1. Loss of memory. 2. Difficulty in performing well-known tasks. 3. Problems with language. 4. Not recognition of time and place. 5. Poor judgment. 6. Difficulty in abstract thinking. 7. Misplace of things. 8. Mood swings and behavior swings. 9. Change in personality 10. Loss of initiative. It is normal for specific kind of memory that it declines with the aging factor like remembering the numbers, list of words etc. Normal individuals above 50 years of age remember only 60% items as compare the individuals of 20 years of age. The 20 years old people if forget anything, they should not be worried for the fact that they are at early stages of Alzheimer’s disease but people aging 50 years or more, if they forget the things they should be worried as if they can be at the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease. |
